Matthew Cossolotto's promise to her mother as she lay dying changed his life. He promised to write a self-help book. But as a political and corporate speechwriter, that didn’t seem like a fit. His mother keep nagging him and saw Matthew as a bigger and more expansive person than he saw himself.
Knowing he wouldn't see her again, he blurted out “ I promise I will write that book.” And he did. While telling his story to Jack Canfield, Jack got excited about the power of a promise. Jack made his own promise to God at age 27, which has shaped his incredible life. Jack told Matthew to keep him posted and eventually wrote a 10-page foreword for Matthew's second book, “Harness Your Promise Power.”
